Our Esquina host Daisy Espinoza (@daisynespinoza_) is an award-winning multimedia journalist and 2021 graduate of the University of Houston.
Daisy’s curiosity and ability to connect with people is reflected in her warm and cheerful on-screen presence. At UH, she produced television shows as a news and sports producer, and served as a studio intern for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Daisy has a strong background in broadcast journalism, but has also ventured into radio, and is an assistant producer with Houston Public Media. Her features and in-depth reporting have aired statewide.
Holding true to her roots, Daisy thrives on covering family and Latinx stories. She strives to connect with the community in each report and is bolstered by the energy of her native city.
