Houston Sports Show co-host Lauren Leal is a multimedia reporter and host with experience covering a variety of sports in Houston and Texas. The last two years she has been one of the hosts at the prestigious Houston Sports Awards.
A Houston native and University of Houston graduate, Lauren has worked for multiple sports teams and networks, including the Houston Astros, Texans, Rockets, Dynamo, ESPN 97.5, SalsaTV and Texas Sports Nation. Currently, she is the “Thursday Night Lights” sideline reporter for KUBE-TV, and the in-stadium game host at the University of Houston’s TDECU Stadium.
Lauren is an athlete, dancer and former Texans cheerleader, who loves all things sports, whether she is an active participant or covering them as a reporter. Fun, enthusiastic, and smart, with a naturally charming personality, Lauren is a rising star in the business.
